Damn, where did all the threads go?
Ummm... oh...
I was at the bar one night, just got off of work there and figured I'd hang out and drink a few before going home, and a buddy of mine came in with two of his friends. Eventually one of the two friends said they needed my help.
Apparently the brother of the one friend has a house that is very haunted. So haunted in fact, he bet his uncle $100 he couldn't stay the night in the place. The uncle was skeptical, so he took the bet, and wound up leaving halfway thru the night.
The man that owns the house apparently bought it from a guy that grew up there with his parents. I'm guessing the parents were the first owners. Anyway, the guy decided to sell it after living in it his whole life and it came to the guy I was told about... and he thinks the mom of the guy that he bought it from is the one haunting it, because she died in the house.
One of the incidents I heard about... the man was sitting on his leather couch one night watching tv. He felt someone sit down next to him and looked over to see the cushion on the couch indented like someone was sitting there. He then felt the hair on the back of his head being played with. He got up and walked out for a few hours.
Oh, and his 5 year old son. His son doesn't want to stay there most nights. He'll say to his dad "He's coming here tonight. I wanna stay at grandma's." He usually gets his way. So there's another possible spirit there, and apparently it's messing with the boy.
They asked me to check the house out and I said I would, but WHO KNEW it would now be two weeks and they haven't called me or anything.... so typical. In any case, if I ever get to go I'll keep you posted.
