Im still working on a complete thesis for this but I think that Atlantis and Egypt were very closerly tied and still are to this day. I think that if any clues are left to Atlantis that the are probably more than likely, someplace in Egypt.
I'll post more, well, when I know more.

I think that Atlantis was around tens of thousands of years before the Egyptians built the pyramids, Atlantean priests and priestesses with great mental control and advanced knowlege of natural sciences immigrated to the Egyptian valley drawn by the south-north flow of the nile. They built the sphinx, and several other monuments and temles that are forever lost to the sand of the desert. They were so advanced in appearance and abilities that they were deemed Gods by the native peoples and eventually gave rise to polytheism in general. This angered the creator of all, causing him to destroy their beloved homeland, forsaking the Atlantean people whom he had given the secrets of all the earth. The priests were trapped in various parts of the globe, and did their best to allegorically imprint their story and the knowledge that they were given to the "future" people. The massive monuments that these were contained in were not only to serve as repositories of knowledge, but as a means to awaken "future" man's curiosity to eventually lead them back to where the Atlanteans were so many eons ago.
IMnHO, that could be possible, couldn't it?

Lately I've been hearing more on Atlantis and different theories and they're all interesting.
I did see a program on these diamond skulls. There are supposed to be like 11 or 14 of them or something, and only a few have been found. Apparently they're supposed to have tons of information in them from when they originated, which as it happens comes from a time we know almost nothing about. And this information is supposed to make us so much more advanced than we already are. But we don't know how to get this info out, or how to even read it if we did get it out, or whatever. Showing that we are actually not as advanced as they were 100's of thousands of years ago.
Which could explain a lot of things... pyramids, Atlantis... tons of things. These people may have very well been more advanced than we are now, and that's why we can't figure out how the pyramids were made, or the stone henge, or whatever. It's all interesting. And I don't think that info will ever be figured out in my lifetime unfortunately, cause I'd love to know what that's all about.
