I have to say, I'm a HUGE fan of the Sleepaway Camp series. I've wanted a 4th movie for the longest time. Of course now, if you buy the box set with all three movies in it, you get a fourth DVD with footage of the ill-fated 4th movie.
As I was searching thru IMDB.com today I stumbled across something very cool. Return To Sleepaway Camp! It's being called the 5th movie, even though the 4th was never completed.
What I've found out about it is this... it's going to be basically the original cast from the first movie. Fans will know, Felissa Rose played Angela, the killer, in the first one, and Pamela Springsteen played Angela in parts 2 and 3. Side note, someone else was scheduled to play her in the 4th, but since it wasn't completed, who cares...
Anyway, I started doing more searches on the original cast and came up with Felissa's official site, www.felissa-rose.com/ and on it she has the movies she's been in, and one coming up in 2007 is a movie called... Waverly Hills!
To me this is exciting news. Plus a new Sleepaway Camp! I'm excited!!!
Others to star in the new Sleepaway Camp... Vincent Pastore from The Sopranos, and the scientologist South Park quitter, Isaac Hayes.
