Thea, this one is all you lol. I just found this at one of our affiliates, Seekers of the Unknown.
Elizabethtown, KY- St. John's Road Cemetery- The unknown cemetery located at the end of St. John's road is rumored to contain one of the seven gateways to Hell which exist on the Earth. This is truly one of the most frightening places we have ever visited. St. John's, which is also highway 1357, is accessible from highway 61 and highway 31 in the center of Elizabethtown. Travel approximately 35 to 40 minutes down St. John's road and the street will quite literally dead end at the graveyard.
I'd love to go by there! Thea, I'm coming down there sometime in the new year, and we're going to have a hell of a weekend hunting! I wouldn't mind stopping by this place for a little while if it's close by to you.

Ok. And yeah, I think it was offa 65. Didn't look like there was much there when I went thru. And actually, I may have stopped there a while back when I went to that one town with all the alcohol lol. Just forgot the name of it. But yeah, I think we stopped there for a minute.

Next few weeks works for me. Just tell me some dates and I'll let you know if they're open, which they should be.

For now, I'm good just about any weekend. I can generally get off whenever I need to with a week or so notice. I have an interview for a new job (different field altogether, really) this week...but that should be easy enough to get off, too.

Sounds fine to me, Thea. Let's just make sure we have time to take a look at a few places on the way, see St. John's in the day time, then go back to Mammoth Cave after dark...or something.

Can we go to Mammoth cave after dark? That would be awesome. Not in the cave its self, but the roads are all open, and the cemetery is open, if that's what you mean. In short, we can go to just about anywhere on the park that isn't directly ran by the park service. Just have to be careful. (flashlights and such... It's easy to take a fall in that place!!!)
